FINAL UPDATE

I've been doing some tinkering and decided it was finally time to lay this project to rest. Some of the mysteries I had were answered and fixed, others weren't.

I made some changes to the input code such that the player can no longer apply mass to the weights while activating the boost. This was causing an issue where applying horizontal force to the player would require you to increase mass on one side which caused a spin every time you boosted sideways. Thankfully, this was fixable without being that noticeable in gameplay.

Fixed a bug where one of the objects that I wanted in the foreground would appear behind the player.

I was able to hopefully *reduce* the amount of spin the spring pads occasionally inflicted on the player. Unfortunately, this didn't fix the issue entirely and applying mass to the weights will naturally effect your trajectory if you have angular momentum in the air.

LabBreak! was a crazy fun project to make, I was able to hone some of my skills and finally make a unity game that wasn't just a bunch of primitives. I finally felt like I made a real game for once, short as it may be. The response has been wonderful and I plan to develop much more in the future. So if you enjoyed LabBreak!, toss me a follow so that my next games appear on your dashboard!

Thank you.
