I realized that the lower resolution build setting doesn't change the window size, so I made one that's just fullscreen at 1920x1080. Fortunately, quit or skip functionality is present in every scene so theres no need to alt + f4 out of the game when you want to restart or get stuck (assuming you read the controls on the main page. )
